Frog Eat Frog World

In this specific set of articles, students will learn all about the impact of invasive bullfrogs on the population of endangered Chiricahua leopard frogs. They will explore challenging wildlife management issues such as removal of animals.

The original article appeared in the March/April 2021 issue of Arizona Wildlife Views. It was written by Audrey Owens. This article was modified into classroom appropriate versions by Jenna Woods, a wildlife education intern.

SELECTING THE RIGHT ARTICLE
In general, each version contains the same content, just at a reading level appropriate for different students. There are a couple of different ways that you could use these articles. Some teachers select one version that fits their grade level and all students read that same version. Other teachers use all three versions and assign individual students to a specific version based on their reading ability. The version can be found in the upper right corner of each article.
